Cat & Elijah’s Halloween Wedding at the Eagle House in Eureka, California
Cat and Elijah’s October wedding at the Eagle House brought together Victorian elegance, moody romance, and a playful Halloween celebration. With black formalwear for the ceremony and costumes afterward, their day felt thoughtfully styled while leaving plenty of room for everyone to have fun.
I had already photographed their engagement session in Humboldt, where they embraced the cold, wind, and natural movement. Their wedding carried that same ease together, this time against the backdrop of one of Eureka’s most distinctive historic venues.
Victorian Elegance with a Halloween Twist
The Eagle House was a fitting setting for the atmosphere Cat and Elijah wanted. Its Victorian character complemented their dark, romantic styling, while the black tuxes and dresses gave the ceremony a classic, cohesive look.
What I loved was how comfortably the elegance and playfulness fit together. The day looked beautifully put together, but the atmosphere remained relaxed and light. Their Halloween theme felt personal, with room for both romantic photographs and a celebration full of personality.
Sunset Portraits on the Eureka Waterfront
During the final minutes of sunset, I took Cat and Elijah to a pier a couple of blocks from the Eagle House for portraits together.
Stepping away gave them a little time with each other and brought a different setting into their gallery. The open waterfront and warm evening light offered a beautiful complement
