A Foggy Fairytale Engagement Session in the Redwoods
Dense fog, towering redwoods, and bare feet on the forest floor—this engagement session felt like stepping into a fairytale.
They traveled from Vancouver, Washington, for romantic engagement photos in the Northern California redwoods. We had talked about sunbeams and glowing light, but the beautiful fog that greeted us that morning brought its own kind of magic.
Their session was originally scheduled for the previous day. With dark clouds settling in, we moved to the morning we had already reserved as a backup. By then, thick fog drifted between the trees, creating the most beautiful layers of forest disappearing into the mist.
Barefoot Among the Giants
She was barefoot, which added such a whimsical feeling to their photos. There was something so romantic about the two of them beneath those enormous trees, surrounded by rich greens and soft morning fog.
The forest gave us a beautiful setting for a moody, cinematic love story. The mist softened the background, while the towering trunks added depth and drama. Every part of it fit together so naturally.
