10 year anniversary
Ten years of marriage is worth celebrating.
We had originally planned to spend their anniversary session beneath the redwoods, but when the day arrived dark and gloomy, we changed plans and headed to Wedding Rock at Sue-meg State Park instead. And it ended up being the perfect place for something this meaningful.
She wore a beautiful floral crown created by Misty Mountain Flora, which was such a romantic touch against the rugged Northern California coastline. With the ocean behind them and the moody skies overhead, the entire evening felt quiet and intimate.
For their ten-year anniversary, they had written vows to one another and saved them to read for the first time during their session. Just the two of them, standing together on Wedding Rock, reflecting on the marriage they had built over the last decade.
Ten years of growing together. Walking through the highs and the lows. Building a life, changing, learning one another more deeply, and continuing to choose their marriage through every season.
There was something incredibly sweet about watching them stand together a decade later and make promises to one another again. Their marriage hadn't remained untouched by life—it had been strengthened through it.
Anniversary sessions don't have to simply be about taking updated photographs together. They can be a chance to slow down and remember where you started, celebrate everything you've walked through, and intentionally choose each other again.
