Mark and Allison Elopement in the Redwoods

Vows were spoken and rings exchanged in one of the most peaceful places imaginable. The forest felt quiet, private, and still. Now and then, the songs of birds tucked high in the trees echoed through the woods. Soft evening light drifted across the forest floor while a massive fallen tree became the backdrop for such meaningful moments.

They asked for photos that had a “Pinterest feel” so that allowed me to edit freely with a lot more muted greens and grain- something I love to do especially for these elopement sessions.

Our first location was dense, intimate, and full of romance, with little pathways leading us deeper from one beautiful corner to the next. Then we made our way to a second setting where the redwoods stood tall and majestic. The open space invited them to pause, breathe it all in, and end the day surrounded by the grandeur of Humboldt County.

What an honor that they traveled from Sacramento to Humboldt County for this unforgettable day.
